This project management company based in Kenya is looking for a Snr Project manager for their branch in Nairobi.You will be required to operate from there and must be able to commit to a 2 year period minimum. Amongst other duties you will be required to procure and source new work in the building industry in Kenya and surrounding countries.

Key responsibilities:

- Day to day management of the project programme to ensure on time delivery in line with budget
- Prepare the project schedule
- Review the project plans and comment on the building design
- Expedite all shop drawings and approvals
- Ensure management of all site activities
- Coordinate and manage sub-contractor, site engineers and foremen
- Daily management of contractors and client liaison / communication with regards to project status
- Monitor progress, identify risks, manage disruptions etc
- Set up and attend status meetings with clients and contractor
- Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
- Ensure completion of project documentation / progress reports
- Ad hoc duties as required by position

Minimum requirements / qualifications
• Bachelors Degree / National Diploma in Engineering / Building and Construction
• A minimum of 10 years construction / project management working experience in a construction environment
