A position exists with a company in Germiston for a senior technical administrator to function as an IT manager to run 14 branches (VPN connections) and HQ Servers with 80 users.

The following skills are not negotiable and the successful candidate will need all of them before applying:
• SQL Server Maintenance
• Windows 7 and 8
• Windows Server 2003 and 2008R2
• Windows Active Directory and group policies
• MS Office Suite 2010 and 2013
• Networking skills (LAN, WAN and Wireless)
• VPN (configuring and maintaining IPSec branch to branch tunnels, L2TP and PPTP)
• Sound knowledge of network routing principals
• Sound knowledge of different connectivity mediums eg ADSL ad 3G
• MS Exchange Server 2007
• MS SQL Server Database Administration (maintenance)
• Backup Exec 2012

The following skills would be highly advantageous.
• Basic MS SQL Scripting
• Cisco ASA 5510 exposure
• SolarWinds NPM and NA
• MS Dynamic’s NAV 2009R2
• VMWARE
• VOIP
• Accsys Payroll
• Mailstore Archiving.
