Job Description:

A comprehensive understanding of the Income Tax Act, Value Added Tax Act and the Tax Administrative Act is required to perform the neccessary duties.
The candidate will also be required to attend to various tax related matters, including provisional tax, tax assessments and dispute resolution with SARS.

Qualifications:

Completion of your SAIPA articles and registration as a Professional Accountant at SAIPA, or sufficient exposure in a tax administration environment.
Must be eligible to register as a tax practitioner with the South African Revenue Service (SARS)
Have a valid driver’s license
The position requires that the candidate is able to work under pressure, both independently and in a team environment.
The candidate must be administratively orientated with good communication skills (both written and verbal)
Have attention to detail as a prerequisite.
