Social Media Coordinator

Location: Muizenberg, Cape Town
Salary: Basic + Pension + Medical Aid Contribution

Purpose of the Role:
Our marketing team is looking for a dynamic digital marketing co-ordinator to join our team to manage our social media channels and assist the team with additional marketing efforts. From creating monthly schedules, briefing of artwork, social media paid marketing management to daily monitoring of platforms.

Requirements:
3 years of integrated marketing and/or digital communications experience
2 years of hands-on social media experience
Paid channel management
Strong writing/editing skills, communication skills, documentation skills
Ability to multi-task and be a team player
High attention to detail

Duties:
Manage and develop content for three social media pages
Develop social media strategies for different platforms
Create monthly content plans
Actively monitor, listen, and respond to users in a timeous manner
Oversee design for social creative
Work as part of a multi-discipline team to achieve campaign objectives
Compile monthly reports and provide insights on community engagement and growth
Paid marketing channel management (planning, budget management, implementation, and reporting)
Providing insights behind social media channel metrics and traffic, to track, review and enhance engagement to drive the brand
Reviewing and monitor competitive brands in similar communities.
Understanding of SEO, website analytics, and website content creation
