To carry out the following Duties:

Safeguarding Children & Young people from harm investigating referrals of alleged neglect
Early identification and understanding of risk
Multi-Agency Core Assessments & case management
Legal proceedings
Identify appropriate placements and ongoing review
Supervision of junior and student Child Protection Social Workers

We are looking for strong candidates who have the following experience:

Minimum of 3/4 years Front Line Child Protection post qualified experience
Extensive statutory experience
Extensive Court work experience (report writing, advocating, testifying, recommendations)
Experienced and skilled in working within a diverse cultural environment
Extensive experience Supervising / Mentoring / Training student / junior Child Protection Social Workers
