We are looking for a bright and intelligent person with an uplifting personality. The ideal candidate will be someone who can think on their feet and make logical decisions. Due to the nature of the vocation the candidate must have have excellent communication and people skills. The role is for a person that has a keen interest in DevOps with a strong development background as the role will still include a lot of actual software development.

Requirements:

1. Compulsory:
- DevOps implementation experience using mainly the Microsoft Stack (Azure DevOps)
- Setting up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- C#.NET development experience
- Microsoft SQL Server experience

2. Preference
- Java Script and JS Frameworks (React/Angular)
- jQuery
- LINQ
- WCF
- Automated Testing

3. Beneficial
- Jenkins / TeamCity/ Bamboo / Travis CI or similar
- Chef / Puppet / Ansible / or similar configuration management tools
- Kubernetes / Docker or similar


The candidate will be expected to maintain the current applications an well as do new development on the existing applications. Future developments and new applications will be developed using C#.NET. (transition to .NET Core) and deploying Saas products using DevOps.

Level of Education
A grade 12 certificate is the minimum acceptable level of education, but candidates that hold a B.Sc degree in Computer Science (or similar) will be more advantageous. The company offers employees the chance of completing any relevant (determined) by the directors) Microsoft Certification, the company will however only pay for the exams and the courses will be seen as self study.
