Our client, based in Monumentpark, Pretoria East, is looking for a Software Developer (.Net) with an IT related tertiary qualification and a minimum of 5 + years relevant post qualification experience. Technologies used are VBScript, .Net, ASP.Net. This position requires travel.
 
Desired Education

• Minimum of 5 years working experience after qualification
• Suitable Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma i.e. Information Technology, Informatics or related area of study
• Microsoft Development Certifications (MCP, MCSD)
• 5 + years’ experience with software design and development on a Windows platform
• VBScript, .Net, C#

 
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Developing of new features as well as support for existing web applications
• Software Development in using the .NET Framework, with VB.Net, C#
• Dynamic Controls (Page life-cycles)
• HTML/XHTML/CSS knowledge
• JavaScript and Jquery
• Object Orientated programming (OOP)

You must have a highly technical skillset, and be mostly sufficient with .NET. An understanding, and exposure to C# & VB.Net is also essential.
