Essential requirements
• Matric with maths HG
• IT Certificate or Diploma in Development
• 3Y experience in combination with: HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSS, node JS & SQL (Query Language)
• MySQL Database exp
• Intermediate Systems Operating skills (Windows and/ or Linux)
• Must have good understanding of object orientation and web development
• Must be able to code from scratch e.g. with assistance of frameworks or code generators
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Understanding of management of IT and IT infrastructure
• High degree of IT aptitude and passion for technology

Duties
• Develop commercial grade web-based applications
• Do research of development technologies
• Perform application testing
• Understanding and conformance to software change control life cycle
• Responsible for object oriented database development in a strong network & infrastructure environment
• Ability to operate independently while delivering work that meets the quality & standards of employer
• Develop & configure server back end components
