This job will be to design and implement multi tier client systems using .Net and SQL server technologies, object oriented methodologies and design patterns.


MINIMUM Requirements:

Grade 12

Relevant degree or diploma

Relevant degree in IT

Marketing, IT, graphic design

C# and ,NET(4.0)

SQL Server and web design and implementation, including Web Part
development, BDC/BDS, Workflow, Event Receivers


Functional knowledge essential:

Firm grasp of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Jquery principles

Firm grasp of Photoshop / Fireworks and Flash advantageous

Social media platforms

MySQL Database Management

Various online marketing mediums

Excellect English communication skills (both verbal and written

Understanding of the digital and online environment

Understanding of Server and Networking environments

Solid understanding of Web Servers, IIS and Web Site set up and
configuration

Full life cycle development (from requirements gathering and
functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery) and
understanding of cross platform web applications

Ability to evaluate user requirements, research and identify
technical requirements, and identify dependencies and risk mitigation
strategies.

Ability to review and develop detailed system specifications and
modifies existing web applications to accommodate changing business
objectives.

Participate in project planning sessions with project managers
and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT
solution.

Database architecture and implementation

Knowledge of current web development technologies and trends


Responsibilities:

Design workflows and user interfaces to be used in business offerings.
Evaluate user requests for new or modified programs and systems, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems, and capabilities.
Find ways to improve existing software architecture using research methods and new technologies. Ensure the IT department meets critical project timelines by supporting the Web design team and tracking progress on all active projects.
Contribute towards product strategy and roadmap.
Ensure that proper documentation is done for the support teams.
Create best practices for the team and ensure that appropriate level of quality assurance have been met for all existing and future projects.
Manage projects independently with minimal supervision.

Salary:
R 260k -R 290k ctc per annum negotiable on experience and qualifications
