Job Description:

An international agricultural software company is looking to add a new Software Developer to their young dynamic team of developers.
Development and Maintenance on new and existing systems
Take responsibility to ensure that relevant knowledge of the system exist
Take responsibility for bug fixing at client and/or company premises
Take responsibility for handling any support requirements on the system (directly or indirectly)
Take responsibility for any additional developments / sub-projects of the existing system
Take responsibility to prioritise any design and development tasks according to company standards as determined by the directors
Take full responsibility to complete the required task in the given time budget - from design, testing to implementation
Take responsibility to design test plans, procedures and specifications
Final Product Process: Accepted - Sign off testing / Not accepted - Return to development phase.
Take responsibility for quality of final product that is released to client
Take responsibility for at least 6 months for ongoing relationship building with client to ensure quality control and user acceptance

Qualifications:

Appropriate 3 year IT qualification
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT environment
Sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL database technology and C++, Delphi and XML programming
Intensive troubleshooting knowledge
Knowledge of desk top support
Knowledge network infrastructure
Knowledge of Windows Based Server management
Knowledge of computer maintenance
Knowledge of hardware infrastructure
Drivers license : Code 8
