Software Development Engineer / Automation Engineer
Location: Dresden, Saxony, Germany
Salary: Market Related
About the Role:
Become a member of our IT team and be responsible for software development to automate and optimize our manufacturing processes. Work together in close cooperation with our engineers from other departments as well as with our external customers to support them with producing leading edge and advanced semiconductor products.
Requirements:
Degree in information technology, business information technology, automation engineering or in a related field or possess similar experiences.
Profound knowledge of object-oriented application development for both web and standalone applications (preferably in Java).
Able to implement PERL / PHP solutions.
Experienced in the design and implementation of shared software solutions.
Familiar with database design (preferably Oracle) and with SQL programming.
Strong analytical skills and are able to quickly acquire detailed knowledge of complex systems
and business processes.
Familiar with project management and reporting.
Strong communication and language skills both in German and English
Duties:
Responsible for interfacing of production tools in the cleanroom with the MES via SECS/GEM protocol (Equipment Integration), including:
- ensuring daily operation of interfaced tools
- planning and implementation of continuous improvement activities
- integration of further production tools
Development of automation solutions from requirements analysis to production implementation
Development of specific programming standards
Cooperation in different teams with internal and external customers and employees of our joint venture partner companies
