Leading group within the IT space based in Sunninghill are seeking a Software Development Manager to join their team, we are looking for 5+ years’ experience in software development

SYSPRO system experience, COBOL programming, SQL scripting and XML

A minimum of 5 years in people management experience

Your skills and experience are required to assist with:

Experience in assisting staff with prioritising and planning and organising.
Dealing with all issues e.g. HR or operational matters escalated by staff.
Experience in building capacity within the department and facilitating collaboration across departments involved in the workflow.
Experience in the coaching of staff on areas of development.
Experience in problem solving and assisting staff accordingly.
Experience in ensuring that departmental goals are achieved.
Capable of executing on Performance Management, Job descriptions and Development Plans
Understanding and executing on agreed and communicated timelines.
Project planning ability of assigned projects.
Managing the time lines and quality of each new functions in a project.
Performing risk management in order to minimise or avoid potential impact.
