Purpose of the role:

In this role you will be both our Software Engineer Technical Specialist as our coordinator focused on designing software for diverse processes and multiple market segments. Various systems and fabrics are used. Process knowledge and organizational features take precedence over detailed system knowledge.

Main Functions:

• You are able to work independently and have experience in the field of technical automation.
• Coordinate and participate in making functional and technical design. Often you will be working on multiple projects at once.
• You participate in writing software for multiple PLC / SCADA / DCS systems and / or 3GL / 4GL or coordinates and supports this.
• Prepare plans and reports for ongoing projects and monitor them.
• Propose a plan for the project's automation part.
• Make (part) calculations and descriptions for quotes and are responsible for (shared) budgets and results.

Requirements:

• Higher Vocational Education (Bachelor degree program), supplemented with relevant subject oriented courses in the field of technical automation.
• You can work well individually as well as in a team.
• You have a flexible setting and you have a broad experience in technical automation.
• Inventive, accurate, structured and analytical are properties that apply to you.
• Knowledge of and experience with modelling techniques is a prerequisite.
• Good understanding of the Dutch or Afrikaans language.
