We are recruiting Engineers in the Software Engineering Department of our Engineering Client.

Role
* Forms part of the Software Engineering group, works both independently, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams
* You will be involved in all phases of the Software Department life cycle: Planning, Requirements, Design, Implementation and Testing
* Participate in technical meetings and design reviews, both internally and externally
* Develop high-quality software design and architecture following Avionics standards and processes.
* Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

Your skills, experience and qualifications
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
* BEng (Computer or Electronic), BSc (Computer Science) or equivalent
* Proven work experience as a Software Engineer in an embedded development environment
* Strong C/C++/C# programming skills
* Proficiency in software engineering tools, e.g. software configuration management, issue tracking, change management, etc.
* Experience in industry standards and best practice in software architecture and design
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
* Software development experience in an Avionics and/or Military environment will be an advantage.
