Our client is the market leader within their ambit of the Software Solutions space, and a highly sought after employer of choice. They are looking for an experienced Sales Exec with proven success in driving sales, new business development, relationship management and significant selling experience within a software solutions environment.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed Degree preferable
Matric – all subjects completed on HG as a min
Min 3 yrs exp in direct, external sales
The ability to think strategically, and build key relationships on an executive level within large, multinational and listed entities
Proven success in software solution selling into large accounts with structured deals
Basic understanding of finance and accounting functions in a business
Strong presentation skills, as well as report and proposal writing

Key Responsibilities:
Presenting and selling the product offering to new / prospective clients
Manage a patch with annual target for Software Licenses as well as implementation services
Generate and seek out new business through cold-calling, and the appointments set up by the Internal Account Manager, or through partners
Prepare proposals, presentations, and sales contracts
Utilize strategic sales methodologies to ensure that appointments and new business opportunities convert to software sales
Prepare a variety of sales status reports including activities, follow-up, closings, and adherence to targets.
Develop and maintain excellent product knowledge and sell the benefits of all the products.
This position will require some travel nationally
