The primary role of the Solution Architect is to engage with clients via the sales channel in the delivery of software solutions by engaging with the client to offer pre-sales support in the form of consulting, scoping, designing, costing, developing and presenting solutions (as well as implementing and supporting these thereafter.

Requirements:

Matric (HG)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
CompTia CDIA+ In House Qualifications
Enterprise Content Management Certification to Technical Administrator Level beneficial
Project Management Qualification beneficial
Two years’ work experience and prior exposure to pre-sales / solution support in a software sales environment
Implementation experience as part of a project team preferable

Software Skills:

Strong MS Excel, Visio skills
Good MS Project skills preferable
Database Development and Maintenance (esp. SQL)
, XML, VB Scripting, Regular expressions

Skills:

Strong analytical skills and problem solving orientation
Good communication and presentational skills
Self-motivation to proactively engage with the sales channel function in order to achieve departmental objectives
Self-driven and teachable to upskill in product and skills knowledge
Computer based training system development
Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary
Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple clients and multiple team members with confidence
Very high attention to detail is key
