Our client is an exciting new business created through the merger of three leading Business Intelligence industry players. They are a leader within the Business Intelligence field, employing 70 staff and servicing over 200 clients throughout South Africa.


They are currently on the lookout for Sales Consultants with at least one year experience selling SAP Business Objects & or Qlikview solutions.

Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to develop new business in Gauteng, to achieve sales targets and maximise sales revenue opportunities through maintaining relationships. The Companies Sales Executives are challenged every day to go out and sell the world’s leading Business Intelligence Software to potential customers

Key Responsibilities:
Creatively identify new businesses and activities to be featured
Expand client base through cold calling, cold canvassing, client referrals or any innovative sales processes
Maximise sales revenue opportunities
Achieve revenue and profit targets

Competencies
Ability
High standard of communication and presentation skills
Keeps commitments to customers and responds to customers concerns with a sense of urgency and follow-through
Ensure efficient co-ordination of activities in order to meet objectives
Manage time efficiently in order to achieve daily call rates, targets and deadlines
Ability to apply an intelligent sales pitch
Self-motivation, flexibility and ability to sell at all decision-making levels

Experience
Cold calling and lead generation
Market and business acumen knowledge essential.
Presenting, negotiating, and closing deals
Excellent track record of sales
Previous experience in selling software solutions

Knowledge
Best practice in sales
Planning and professionally preparing a potential deal before visiting potential partners
Understanding of contractual contracts and agreements
Knowledge of market, trends and business acumen
Overarching desire to become an integral part of a fast growing Business Intelligence company.
