Requirements:
Grade 12
BSc / BComm degree or 3 year Diploma
Advanced: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a test analyst in a SDLC environment
Knowledge and understanding of ERDs, process flow charts, sequence diagrams and use cases
Ability to comply with governance processes and structure
Ability to create and execute automated test scripts
Ability to write and use SQL scripts in your testing to test data seeding
Integration testing and B2B testing
Ability to do web services testing
Must have own reliable transport with a valid driver’s license
Ability and willingness to work long hours at times
SQL – Database, queries, reporting.
Experience in test management tool e.g. Quality centre/HP. ALM.
Automation tools

Responsibilities:
Create test designs and test cases for projects
Peer review test documents
Test all systems under test using a combination of test techniques (white box, black box, functional, data, integration, regression, load etc.).
Test for data seeding through databases for end to end testing
Partake in UAT with relevant stakeholders when needed
Defects logging, retesting and closure in HP ALM software package
Test progress reporting in HP ALM software package
Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Test process and methodologies
Contributes to the quality centre of excellence
