Successful incumbent will be responsible for analysing functional documents and translating these requirements into testing scenarios by ensuring the end product works as intended and is of highest quality.
- preparation and execution of robust testing plans of any enhancements to existing systems and/or new project developments.
- to install, configure, maintain and operate a computer systems/network ensuring system availability, the following of business processes, data integrity, security and business continuity.
- good knowledge of SCRUM process by participating in the Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives.
- ensure that all documentation and knowledge within area of responsibility is effectively created, stored and maintained for current and future use.
- identification of any security vulnerabilities to reduce regulatory risk.
- work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Developers to manage releases between Staging and Production environments.
- Execute and provide feedback to development team on performance, load, penetration and stress tests that determine platform and application capabilities of the end-to-end system.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Relevant IT qualification (NQF 6) Diploma
- ISEB/ISTQB Certification (advantageous)
- 1 year Software Testing experience

RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Experience to understanding of automated, performance, security testing would be added advantage.
- Degree in Information Technology (NQF7)
