We require the services of a competent individual to participate in the Short Term Insurance product and
software development process as a software tester. The ideal candidate will have previous software testing experience in the Short Term Insurance or financial services environment.

Responsibilities:
* Preparing detailed test plans, acceptance criteria and test scenarios for each project
* Working with the Product Development team and external vendors in testing of developed software
* Building of Test Use Cases for all the companies ST Insure products
* Conduct and oversee systems testing, identifying problems & resolving them with the development team
* Oversee and assist Business Owners in conducting UAT
* Establishing testing governance, which includes:
- Monitoring the testing process and identifying and logging test failures
- Performance Testing, Scalability / Stress and Load Testing
- Accurately monitoring and recording results in test documentation
* Providing feedback on test outcomes to Project Manager
* Suggest improvements on tested software
* Follow up changes with developers
* Document new features in order to notify users of software changes
* Assist with Project Management Administration tasks
Minimum Requirements:
* Ability to develop testing strategy to provide assurance that specific desired product and system
outcomes have been achieved
* Short Term/Financial Services Industry knowledge
* Qualification in Software testing
* Knowledge of Short Term Insurance products advantageous
* Knowledge of Ski Policy Administration system (Genasys) and Jira workflow highly advantageous
