Qualification:

BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering



Skills & Experience:

Solar PV Designs for commercial buildings

PVSyst Modelling

Panel / System layout

String Design

Inverter Placement

Bill of Quantities

Lightning protection assessments

Experience in AutoCAD and PVSyst

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

Knowledge of SANS Standards

Minimum 2 years Design experience in Solar PV or Renewable Energy industry



Job Description:

You will be required to do the detailed Design of PV Solar for commercial buildings. The individual will need to be innovative and have professional communication skills. Other duties include structural approvals, engagement with Structural Engineers or mounting Structure experts. Bill of Quantities, municipal and Eskom applications and approvals, as well as doing lightning protection assessments and implementation. Must have a passion for Renewable Energy.
