Solar service technician

• Electrical Technician: 3 Years
• Computer literate, Office 365 Outlook Excel etc.
• Afrikaans/English
• Drivers licence and own transport
• Diploma/Certificate
• Registered as an Installation Electrician

Experience is needed in the following:

• Good solid IT and networking skills and electronics interfacing
• Working with electrical components
• Building electrical wire ways
• Photovoltaic Solar technology
• Solar Hybrid systems
• Battery backup systems
• Power consumption meters
• Fault finding, service and repair on AC and DC circuits.
• Programming

Required Education:

• Must have an electrical/electronic background min N3
• Must have solar grid-tied installation experience off-grid added advantage
• Good understanding of AC and DC power
• Must be able to read circuit diagrams
• Be good at fault finding and troubleshooting
• Networking IT skills an added advantage
• Good interpersonal skills
• Be able to manage small teams
• Good references
