JOB PURPOSE:

Provide client facing technology solutions using hybrid cloud technology.
Design client architecture and perform presales function for hybrid cloud infrastructure as a service solutions enabling our clients to benefit from the latest technology offerings.
Enhance IT/Business synergy where possible.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Design and deploy effective cloud and hybrid solutions for large enterprises
• Design and deploy effective VOIP architecture for customers
• Automation of cloud utilisation and VOIP billing
• Proactive Management/Maintenance Client environment
• Ensure Operational Efficiency of ‘Service’ delivered by Client facing technology
• Protection/Security of Clients’ Digital Information stored and mobile
• Ensure Operational efficiency of clients and IT escalations support
• Team Management and Mentoring to junior staff
• Performing Core Administrative/Procedural Duties and documentation of standards and processes
• Improve desktop support and other end user services through documentation and processes
• Understanding, enforcing and living by best practice methodologies
• Improve business and IT synergy through communication and awareness
• Provide hands-on Support to others within Cloud Logic
• Coordinate and lead technical desktop and application projects
• Contributing to team effort and success in all areas of support
• Contribute to and measure professional development
• Providing Strategic Input and maintain a constant awareness of clients’-co strategic direction
• Deliver/Promote the highest levels of Client Service to all areas of the business


SPECIALIST TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to design and deploy effective cloud and hybrid solutions for large enterprises.
• Perform WAN routing configurations
• Perform switch level configurations and LAN routing
• Able to do Fortigate device configuration
• Able to troubleshoot WAN/LAN connectivity issues
• Able to monitor/troubleshoot connectivity issues using performance management tools
• Must be strong in documentation
• Must be able to interpret key performance metrics to optimize service levels
• Deliver the highest levels of network service to supporting users and applications
• Able to run with connectivity or communication based projects without supervision
• Work with end-user team in isolating application related issues as a result of poor Telco performance
• Drive innovation in the telecommunications space with innovation and self-motivation
• Mentor other members within the team to handle self-repair and problem analysis
Work with the necessary network vendors to drive performance and stability


TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

• Experience in Cloud Architecture and services
• Windows Server or Desktop (MCSE) experience
• ITIL certified and/or suitable qualifications (ITIL)
• Must be fluent in Active Directory, administration (MCITP)
• Must have helpdesk background
• Desktop/device systems management and automated deployment (SCCM)
• Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint 2007/2010.
• Strong Telecommunications and architecture background.
• Strong Applications delivery and architecture (MCITP)
• Desktop Architecture and Systems management (MCITP)
• Must be strong with Technology Management toolset .
• Data security, Data reporting and data analysis background preferable.

*MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) or MCTS (Technology Specialist) or equivalent
