We are actively recruiting for a seasoned Solutions Architect with at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role. The role will involve architecting and leading the development of solutions within the ICT environment.

You will need to have comprehensive understanding of Communication Networking (Ethernet, TCP, UDP,GPS, GSM,3G,GPRS)


You will also meet the following Minimum Requirements:
• BSc Degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification or higher
• at least 5 years experience working on complex projects
• 4 to 6 years’ experience in F/W (firmware) and/or S/W(Software) development under Linux Environment (or equivalent)
• Expert in designing, architecting and implementing software, firmware and hardware systems.
• Preferred educational or technical background in Digital Signal Processing
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet

Practical experience in the following areas would be essential:

• Use of messaging architectures like Service Oriented Architecture to implement and integrate secure webservices SOAP and RESTFul services utilizing protocols e.g DDS, MSMQ, AMQP,JMS
• Performing Architectural design using Methodologies SOA, EAI, ESB, RUP, J2EE, XFA, MDA, SCM
• Developing code that integrates/communicate with serial ports e.g. RS-232, RS-422,USB port, Integration of Google Transit Architecture and API's into Firmware and Embedded systems
• Developing moderately complex software in C, C++ or other selected languages for Firmware and embedded system in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.
• Working in performance/resource critical environments, including analysis, tuning, and algorithm design.
• Full understanding of SDLC
• Leading teams of developers through all product phases from planning through design, implementation and debug.
