Qualification

• A minimum of three (3) years' experience working as solution Architect
• Qualification I Certification (certified copies to be provided).
• TOGAF certification
• Local Government experience will be advantageous.

Scope of Service

• Understand the IT Architecture landscape of the organisation.
• Work closely with development and technology teams for solution design, architecture and application alignment.
• Provide solution architecture guidance to various application and technology teams
• Conducting interviews with key role-players within the various departments to further understand their business processes, needs and challenges.
• Conduct feasibility studies
• Preparing business cases and conducting risk assessments
• Conduct solution assessments and validation
• Conduct presentations of the deliverables for playback to the Business.
• Conduct playback sessions with the Business to ensure that the information extracted from the business documents and through the interview process are correct
• Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements
• Produce process flow analysis and process redesign documents
• Share best practices and be consultat ive to teams and clients
• Collaborate with Technical Architects I Technology Managers and Application development Managers to produce a technical specification for custom development and systems integration requirements
• Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document in alignment with the organization standards and application portfolio roadmaps.
• Participate and lead,when needed,project meetings with the customer
• Participate in internal projects as required
• Serve as a group member on the internal enterprise architecture governance boards.
