Purpose of Role:
  • Oversee, promote and qualify companies full portfolio of services into global accounts.
  • Design of complex resourcing, services and transformation technical solutions in response to customer demand, business and technical requirements.
 
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with sales Account Managers / Directors to seek out new business opportunities on new and existing clients.
  • Clearly articulate the companies full portfolio and services proposition into the customer base.
  • Oversee and review, globally, all services and resourcing solutions into the customer base taking solutions ownership for any given account.
  • Actively seek and provide technical qualification on opportunities within global account for services led solutions in collaboration with the Account Manager or Account Director.
  • Build personal and technical relationships with key managers, sales and technical teams within the client base on a pro-active basis. 
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally.
  • Capture from target clients their technology, consultancy and services requirements driven by identified business needs and transfer this to the client via strong verbal, written and presentation skills aligned to the companies portfolio.
  • Write and develop detailed ‘scopes of work’ and proposals to document new opportunities you negotiate and brief the relevant internal departments as part of a formal hand over process in readiness for project delivery.
  • Provide technology and service solutions in response to client competitive tenders (ITT, RFI and RFP etc.), working with the Bid Manager (where required) and account team. Ensure ownership of the proposed solution and present to clients as and when required.
  • Development and delivery of solution commercials and cost models around equipment lists and services including RoI, margin and forecast projections for internal approval.
  • Generate a rolling programme to update your target clients quarterly on developments in market or partner technology and NSC service propositions.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical support, including post-sales for queries by sales, sales support and customer engineers.
  • Provide regular pipeline reporting and updates to management on current opportunities that you are engaged on in alignment with sales forecast / pipeline.
 
Skills and Experience:
  • Over five years’ experience in a client facing technical solutions role working with large to medium size Enterprise and Service Providers to provide technical solutions in the network infrastructure and services space.
  • Experience in services led consultancy for Systems Integrators or outsourcer with a focus on services.
  • Experience of technical design, resource / services / managed services led solutions.
  • Experience in creating and documenting Bill of Materials (BoM’s) for validation and client approval.
  • Ability to identify and qualify the client true business requirements and the commercial scale and potential of any opportunity.
  • Ability to seek and understand client requirements whilst determining comapanies  solutions to address these.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks, prioritise and drive them forward to successful completion.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills are required in order to perform this role.
  • Strong MS Office skills (specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Technical skills and certifications required for this position:
    • IP routing and switching with demonstrable experience of either Cisco and/or Juniper portfolios and associated vendor products
    • Certifications (desirable):  CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS or similar
    • Network optimisation and traffic management using products such as Riverbed, Juniper etc.
    • Understanding and knowledge of Voice, IPT and Unified Communications technologies
