Solutions Consultant
An ICT solutions provider is looking for a Solutions Consultant with at least 3 years in the ICT solutions / Pre-Sales environment

JOB SUMMARY
The Solutions Consultant coordinates technical & pre-sales activities.
He/she transfers industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. Assists in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies sales account managers on visits to customers.
The Solutions Consultant supports the successful achievement of technical solutions sales targets by analysing the technical needs and proving the ability to deliver the IT solutions proposed to prospects or existing customers.
The Solutions Consultant will report to the Solutions Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Good Knowledge and Experience of Pre-Sales and Technical back ground is a requirement.
The Solutions consultant will need to be a trusted advisor on technology trends and future ICT planning for the clients.
Identify and qualify opportunities.
Meet your solutions sales target
Prepare and deliver strategic presentations to client’s / Product presentation/demonstration
Support with technical qualification.
Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information or a Request for Proposal
Support customer / supplier events
Prepare software order forms (providing feature codes and product information)
Monitor accurate and correct delivery of software and solutions
Build technical relationship with prospects or existing customers
Provide any technical input needed for proposals
Be able to position and present product offerings
Compare product offering with product from other vendors from a technical point of view
Promoting and selling technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
Working with various products to provide potential clients with the best possible IT solution
Ensuring that bids, tenders and proposals are completed to the highest standard
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT environment of which
3 years in the ICT solutions / Pre-Sales environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

Grade 12 & valid driver’s licence
Advantageous

ICT Technology Related Diploma / Degree
Sales / Marketing experience and certificates
Salary will be determined according to skill and knowledge in the area.
