The Purpose of the Role is to effectively management the procurement of strategic suppliers and to ensure the maximisation of supplier performance and cost effectiveness supporting the company's strategic initiatives.

Duration: Two Year Fixed Term Contract

Summary of Responsibilities

* Sourcing (Effectively manage the procurement of strategic suppliers, identify alternative suppliers both locally and internationally and respond to requests in a timely manner and be proactive in looking for potential sourcing opportunities).

* Negotiation (quantity and timing of deliveries, negotiate volume discounts and to proactively look for potential sourcing opportunities).

* Reporting (track and reports savings for each executed strategy, assist Supply Chain Manager develop purchasing policies and guidelines, perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking and perform spend analysis on current vendor information and identify opportunities for cost savings).

Requirements

* Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
* 3-5 years' recent experience as a Sourcing Specialist.
* Experience in effectively managing the procurement of strategic suppliers.
* Ensure maximization of supplier performance and cost effectiveness supporting the company's strategic initiatives.
* Work cross-functionally within a matrix organisational team structure and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
