Our client a Conference Center and Entertainment complex in Cape Town is currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for this multi-outlet unit.Key Duties & Responsibilities• Control and manage stock in line with cost of sale budget.• Analyze and interpret daily unit results• Determine and implement corrective / proactive action•Working knowledge of labour legislation• Knowledge of operational standards and procedures• Control Costs• Financial Feasibility of menus• A strong sense of analytical skills, decision making, problem solving, results focused, self motivating, strong leadership skills• Good staff relations to maintain a comfortable and productive working environment for all concerned• An independent thinker to manage creatively and competently• Manage team performance• Manage Customer relationshipSkills, Experience & Educational Requirements• Drivers License a must• Management experience (3 Years)• Hospitality experience (3 Years)• Computer Literacy – Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, Materials ControlThis position reports to the Executive Chef
