What are the key responsibilities of the position?
• Supervise and train the kitchen staff
• Prepare gourmet meals
• Guest liaison and interaction during meal times
• Manage staff canteens
• Stock control and ordering
• Ensure maintenance of kitchen equipment

What type of experience do we require?
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a medium sized kitchen
• International /Relais Châteaux experience in a similar, 5 star establishment
• Experience on fine dining and a la carte service
• Fully computer literate

Which qualifications will secure this position?
• Professional Chef qualification from a recognized institution
• Driver’s license
• First Aid training beneficial

What skills / behaviours are required?
• Excellent understanding of kitchen procedure and timing requirements
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Passion for fine food and up to date with the latest culinary trends
• Good communication skills
• Creative and innovative
• Able to work under pressure
