Our Client an Event Company and Restaurant is looking for a passionate Sous Chef to oversee a team of 8 in the Kitchen and functions

Salary – Negotiable to experience

Min Requirements
• Matric
• Hospitality / Chef Diploma - ADDED ADVANTAGE but not a must
• Kitchen / Function Management Experience (2-3 years)
• Knowledge and understanding of cooking techniques

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Food and Function preparation – Chef
• Function Catering
• Knowledge of operational standards and procedures of a kitchen including preparation and hygiene.
• Manage team performance
• Control and Manage Portion specification
• Determine and implement corrective / proactive action
• Good staff relations to maintain a comfortable and productive working environment for all concerned.
• An independent thinker to manage creatively and competently
