Our client is looking for a Sous Chef

Purpose of Job

ability to lead and manage a medium sized team.
able to work under pressure
strong person that can think on their feet
ability to produce delectable fine dining meals
must be well spoken and presentable
knowledge of set menus, mini a la carte menus and buffet menus
knowledge of stock takes and stock control
Minimum qualifications, requirements and experience

Grade 12
Culinary qualification from a reputable and registered institute or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ senior chef de partie or sous chef experience in four /five star properties
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications but in the region of R7-9k per month.
