Our client is urgently looking for Specialist in Hosting Assurance in Midrand.
To provide a high level, high quality service assurance role to Cellular corporate clients.
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities (to be completed by Line Management/HR BP)

To provide a high level, high quality service assurance role to the Cellular Business corporate clients.
Support Hosting technical aspects of a Converged Network infrastructure, including Virtual and Physical Hosting services
Reporting of all incidents to relevant parties
Liaising with Client on all Hosting related events and fault resolutions
Fault Management update on Siebel SRM
Client update and follow up until incident closure: Complete understanding of ITIL practices
Cross collaboration with all levels within the Organization
Provide Support
Understanding of IP/GSM/Telecommunications/ICT Industry
Hosting technologies
Hosted solutions, virtual and physical
Understanding of Networking
Understanding of Security technologies

Job knowledge
Understanding of IP/GSM/Telecommunications/ICT Industry
MPLS networks
Security systems
Virtual Hosting systems – ISP class
Physical Hosting systems – ISP class
Dell / HP server platforms
Broadband solutions
Technology Strategy
Converged Technologies

Managed Hosting Services, i.e. content filtering, hosted mail

Qualifications & Experience

A Relevant IT Diploma or B. Degree in Information Technology with at least 3 years’ experience, of which
at least 2 years within a complex IP routing and switching environment, of which 1 year with a service provider focus
OR
Matric and relevant IT certification (Valid VCP and/or CCNA)
At least 5-6 years hands-on experience of which 3 years must be within a complex ISP Data Centre and Hosting environment of which 3 years must be with a known Service Provider
Typical Outputs – if applicable (to be completed by Line Management/HR BP)

• Must be willing to work irregular hours
• Must be willing to work 24/7 shifts
Must be willing to travel
