POSITION: SPECIALIST SALES REPRESENTATIVE WOUND CARE
REPORTS TO: DIVISIONAL MANAGER WOUND CARE
AREA: GAUTENG

JOB OBJECTIVES
The Specialist Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting the Specific portfolio of Ascendis Medical Devices Wound care products in the relevant territory, by developing, maintaining and improving customer relationships, offering technical / clinical training and solutions to meet the customers’ and users’ needs, excellent after sales service and support
Candidate must be prepared to travel where necessary and spend time away from home, meetings etc.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
• Achieve & excess sales targets in the specific territory
• Regular calling on customers as per the Strategy
• Implement the Product and sales strategies
• Training of doctors, nursing staff
• Manage the Territory effectively
• Uphold the image of Ascendis Medical

Suitable life sciences tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 3 year in sales / marketing in the medical devices or pharmaceutical sector
• Previous experience within a Burns/Reconstructive Plastic Surgery environment including an established relationship with these surgeons would be an advantage
• FMCG experience would also be an advantage
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office
• Code 8 driver’s license
• Own Transport
• Fluent in English (verbal, reading & writing)
