QA Analyst required to join a fast paced, expanding company whose specialties include Software Solutions, Research and Development
and Web Development. Responsible for testing all products and systems, establish suitable testing methodology and processes.
Identify areas of concern in respect of quality and performance and make recommendations for improvement where necessary

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a Quality Assurance test plan
Establish suitable testing methodology and processes
Test products and solutions with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility
Conduct research where necessary to gain technical understanding of projects
Provide reports on test results with detailed documentation on failed tests
Provide recommendations for improvements of products and systems where tests fail
Escalate failed tests to relevant internal stakeholders

Job Requirements
Education Required
Relevant 3 year degree or National Diploma (Information Technology / Engineering/ Comp Science)
ISEB Foundation Certification in Software Testing

Experience Required
2 years formal testing experience
R&D experience (advantageous)
Good technical knowledge
Experience in quality management software and processes
Basic understanding of usability differences between iOS, Android and Web platforms
Basic understanding of usability differences between mobile and web screens
Basic understanding of User Experience (UX) design processes and standards

Remuneration
R20,000 – R25,000 per month (plus benefits after successful completion of the probation period)
