Duties would include:
- Designing custom database schemas for efficient loading and querying
- Optimising current database infrastructure
- Researching alternate database technologies e.g. Non-relational databases,Hadoop, AWS etc. and implementing
- Conducting ETL (Extract, transform and load) process to upload raw data to a prescribed database format
- Data Cleaning and formatting data to be usable by clients
- Constructing appropriate data structures for storage and presentation
- Improving and automating data loading process
- Maintaining backup and replication systems
- Performing daily and monthly data batch processing and generating reports
- IT / Mathematics / Statistical qualification
- Proven experience
- Good attitude
