SQL DBA - Bryanston

Our client has an exciting position for a SQL Database administrator with 3 to 5 Years SQL server experience.

Install and configure SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Database Administration
Database Tuning and optimization with knowledge of indexing and statistics.
Database Management
Database Security
Good understanding of Database structures and principals
Knowledge of HA and DR options for SQL server
Understand distributed computing architectures
Install and configure Windows server for MSSQL

Qualifications and experience
IT degree / Diploma
3 -5 year IT operation experience
3-5 years Microsoft SQL Server experience
Team player
Good trouble shooting skills
Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Self-motivated and directed
