Key areas of responsibility

* SQL server 2005/8+ and relational database development

* Stored procedures, Functions, triggers

* Data Replications and scheduling

* Database Maintenance and Optimizations

* DTS packages, SSIS and SQL queries

* Writing more complex queries for specialized requirements on current and new projects

* Develop operational reporting systems

* Develop systems to support operations

* Ensure that data sources cater for demands of ad hoc extracts

* Operations and maintenance of standard, routine queries

* Operate, maintain, enhance and optimize systems

* Ensure correct preparation of data for all operations

* Additional tasks related to data extracts, automated operations and SQL queries as required

* Assist with queries to support both business projects, operational and informational needs

Qualifications and experience

* DBA experience with SQL query Development

* Must have SQL server 2005/8+ and relational database development, Stored procedures, Functions, triggers, DTS packages, SSIS and SQL query experience

* BSc Comp Science, industry qualifications or equivalent experience

* A minimum of 5 years relevant experience

* In depth knowledge of business data
