Support Developer / Helpdesk Engineer / SQL
- Through hands-on exposure in the support and maintenance team
- Acquire a solid understanding of company applications, services, frameworks and solutions
- Extend your programming skill sets and critical thinking
- Prompt response to customer queries via email, telephonic and remote support
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that the helpdesk operates as a highly professional service that meets the needs of the company as well as the client
- Show passion for building software
Responsibilities
- Support the entire lifecycle of applications development: design, develop, test and deploy efficient code to support business requirements with a high amount of diligence
- Enjoy working collaboratively with others
- Engage positively in code reviews and critique of progress
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities professionally
- Maintain constant attention to detail and thoroughness
- Provide support to internal departments if they have questions
- Perform system maintenance
- Improve and create automated systems and processes to improve operational tasks.
- Gain knowledge of security issues that will affect systems
- Practice effective communication skills in the team.
- Complete assigned tasks within timeframes agreed, and escalate to the team lead in good time if issues arise.
Technical skills
- Intermediate Sql Server experience
- C# Experience
- Database Maintenance Experience
- MVC would be a benefit
- Technical knowledge of relational databases
- Database Design and implementation
- Troubleshooting and able to improve Database Code
