Our client is searching for a SQL Developer to be based at their Johannesburg offices The successful incumbent will be responsible for both new and existing technology The role will require an individual with strong data warehouse and SSIS experience

Requirements
Grade 12/ Matric
Microsoft SQL Server Certification
3 to 5 years SQL development experience
SQL Server 2000 2008 experience
Experience in SQL programming and an indepth knowledge of the SQL Language including T SQL
Experience in the creation of stored procedures views triggers cursors and functions
The ability to read and understand existing SQL scripts maintain them and enhance them if required
Ability to create / schedule and monitor SQL jobs
Knowledge of FTP File Transfer Protocol advantageous
Knowledge of BCP Bulk Copy advantageous
The ability to write optimal SQL codes accurately and timeously
The ability to automate procedures
