Our client is currently looking for strong SQL developers to join their Data Engineering team as client-facing, permanently employed consultants.

Good communication and collaboration skills are therefore a must, as well as great technical ability on at least one database platform (ideally MS SQL or Oracle). There will be exposure to a wide range of industries, so the ability to quickly understand new business environments is essential.

What Will You Do?

* Identify and develop cutting edge and innovative technology solutions to enable better decision making for their customers.

* Produce technical and user documentation.

Who Do You Need To Be?

* Relevant Degree e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems.
* Microsoft Certified (advantageous).
* At least 2 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle / SAP DS database and ETL tools.
* Consulting experience (advantageous).
* Good understanding of data warehousing and analytical methodologies and solution delivery.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the emphasis on relationship building, understanding business requirements, and management of business expectations.
* Ability to be proactive and accountable for your own deliverable s.
* Ability to work within a team.
* Effective planning and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven.
