The SQL Support role will be responsible for daily SQL Server support for the business and development teams. This role will include production support and maintenance, database and data changes via structured change request process.

Key Performance Areas

• Support and maintain standards for the production database environments.
• Verify the structure, accuracy, or quality of data changes.
• Complete support activities in timely fashion
• Ensure all TFS cases are complete an accurate
• Ensure all database schema changes are in TFS before UAT and production deployments.
• Provide or coordinate troubleshooting support for the business.
• Assist in creating production and UAT deployment packages.
• Ensuring data security polices and processes are followed.

Minimum Requirements of the Job

Educational Requirements

• MS Certified (min MSCA 2012 – Query SQL Server 2012 70-461)
• Good to have: 70-462 (Administering SQL 2012 databases)

Experience

• Experience with MS SQL Server 2012 and or 2014, stored procedures, views, TVF/UDF, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
• Hands on experience with SQL Replication
• Good working knowledge of SQL Server Security
• Some experience working on MySQL 5.1+ is beneficial, but not crucial.
• Good working knowledge on SQL performance and maintenance
• Agile/ scrum using TFS
• Working knowledge of SharePoint with Power View / Power Pivot
