A SQL / software developer who is ideally proficient with SQL:
Responsibilities will be:

• Developing code for the solution (SQL and VB.Net) based on Technical Design Documentation received from business analyst / consultant
• Write complex high performance SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Developing / maintaining code
• Create, test, and maintain program codes / macros
• Building data Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) capabilities to deliver the solution to the client and as per technical specification
• Database design and maintenance
• Data modelling
• Generate reports from the existing database system
• Performing and assisting with Business Intelligence (BI) functions to deliver reporting to clients
• Working with computer coding languages (based on client requirement)
• Assist with design specifications by providing input and reviewing requirements, drafting functional specifications and technical solutions.
• Provide assistance to Consulting staff when they are unable to resolve software issues
• Provide assistance to customers as needed to clarify features or resolve problems
• Provide general programming assistance to team members as needed
• Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
• Researching, designing, writing and testing new software programs. Research/propose new technical solutions.
• Diploma or BSc degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering

Successful applicants will have the following skills and exposure:

• SQL. Stored procedures and high performance SQL queries
• Knowledge in .Net framework
• Programming in ASP.Net, VB.Net
• Programming in C# and/or C++ and Creating MS Office Add-ins.
• Programming in Visual Basic 6 and VBA
