SQL Technical Support

Responsibilities:

• Telephonic and on-line/remote support to clients on software using Microsoft SQL as the back-end
• Remote support done on servers, back office and till machines
• Determine whether queries are user error or system error
• Perform basic queries in SQL database to modify/search for data
• Interacting with technical consultants, branch technicians and third party suppliers
• Client liaison, data modification and conversions from other types of databases to SQL
• Software and database upgrades

 
Requirements:

• BSc (IT) or IT Diploma & SQL secures for this role (SQL competency evaluation applies)
• 2-4 years relevant experience
• Shifts work applies

 
Location: Cape Town (Bloubergstrand)
Remuneration: R12 000 – R18 000 CTC
