SSIP Manager
(8 months contract)

Job Purpose
To manage and administer the Secondary Schools Improvement Program (SSIP) end-to-end. To assist the Senior Manger School Support with other functions, including initiatives for improving SSIP, re-conceptualization of SSIP activities to create more impact to learners, writing detailed reports per residential and walk-in sites. Assist Senior Manager: School Support in the managing, coordination and measuring of the success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage SSIP end-to-end, from inception/initiation, to implementation, monitoring and reporting.
2. Oversee administration of SSIP end-to-end.
3. Write detailed narrative reports and power point presentations for each site of SSIP, be it walk-in or residential.
4. Write SSIP integrated narrative reports and power-point presentations for each district for each quarter or any duration
5. Write SSIP integrated narrative reports for each district walk-in and residential sites for each quarter or any duration
6. Write SSIP integrated narrative reports for the overall province per quarter or any duration including annual and bi-annual
7. Ensure quality of learning in all SSIP interventions
8. Ensure quality of teaching in all SSIP interventions
9. Evaluate the impact of SSIP interventions
10. Ensure all the documents required for auditors (Auditor General, Internal and External Auditors) are accurate, that is, all learners sign visible learner attendance registers, all learner attendance registers are captured into the database, each database accurately reflects each attendance register, and vice versa.
11. Working with the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) to ensure that Sci-Bono and GDE get a clean audits for SSIP.
12. Assist the Senior Manager to manage the budget for SSIP.

EDUCATION
? Degree in Education.
? Post-graduate qualification(s) will be an added advantage.
? Project management qualification will be an added advantage
