We are seeking a suitably experienced Statistical Programmer to join a dynamic team of researchers at the Head Offices in Durban.

Qualifications and experience:
Degree in Computer Science/Biostatistics/Computer engineering or related fields
2-years relevant experience

Experience:
Advanced SAS programming skills
Knowledge in applications such as Base SAS, SAS/ STAT and SAS macro language
Basic understanding of clinical research and statistical analyses;

Duties and Responsibilities:
Programming, testing, and documentation of programs for use in creating statistical tables, listing and figures
Programming, testing and documentation of derived datasets, either to use internally or transfer to external researches
Programming quality control checks and detect errors in detail from the source data and report data issues periodically
Develop, implement and validate new process technologies, macros and applications under supervision

Salary on offer R215000 to R400000 per annum dependent on experience.
