Requirements:
• FAIS compliant, Manage section 8 (2)d application process, Policy wording negotiations Experience in quoting slips / placing slips , Detailed knowledge of coverage available / provided under all relevant insurance classes, Good working knowledge of the operation of captives and cell captives and placing reinsurance on their behalf, Ability to identify suitable insurance markets for specific risks

Duties (over view)
• Perform Placement Technical function on nominated accounts including Eskom, ARM and Harmony
• Manage the Company Section 8(2)d application process on a national basis
• Sign off on overseas premium payment bordereau markets etc
• Design best practice broad form policy wordings for all classes that Placement is mandated to handle
• Negotiate and agree Company wordings with the insurers
• Draft best practice quoting slips/placing slips that dovetail with the best practice policy wordings
• Maintain policy wordings, slips and drafting notes on a regular basis
• Lead training of Placement staff on the issuance of slips and wordings
• Review wordings for strategic accounts as requested by senior management
• Perform comparison of insurer issued wording as required by senior management
• Conduct policy working workshops for major clients as and when required
• Assist with development of wordings for new products
