RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking an experienced STOCK CONTROLLER / BOOKKEEPER for a well-established concern – position based in the Merrivale area.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (or N2).
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Pastel experience ESSENTIAL!
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
English speaking (person must be able to speak, read and write English competently).
Responsible for all stock control and related bookkeeping activities. This includes checking delivery notes against invoices, checking and capturing supplier invoices, preparing management reports on sales, costs, and orders, issuing customer invoices, tracking products through the manufacturing cycle, as well as processing credit notes and refunds.
The Stock Controller will be instrumental in ensuring implementation and subsequent operationalisation of the company’s new stock control process.
Stock and inventory management, capturing of product movement through the factory, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring full traceability of all products.
Stock Controller will be tasked with implementing and overseeing a range of food safety, hygiene and quality measures in the factory. Over time this will also include the implementation of new food safety certifications and working closely with management to prepare the move of the factory to new facilities that will need to be fully food safety compliant.
Person will be required to work with factory staff and the Manager to ensure compliance and sufficient documentation of the food safety status.

Salary package offered: - R16 000-00 per month (negotiable) (CTC) (no benefits offered)
