Duties:
Controlling the product inflow and output at each of the designated warehouses as well as inter warehouse transfers.
Matching stock against mandated stock levels for selected warehouses.
Avoiding stock outs and excesses.
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring quantities that appear in the system are accurate.
Ensure all inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.
Complete all necessary stock takes/cycle counts
Maintain the storeroom and the allocation of space for stock.
Arranging returns to suppliers.
Identify and make recommendations on the disposal of surplus and slow moving items.
Ensure adequate controls are in place to safeguard stock levels at all times.
Forecasting of stock requirements and recommending purchase volumes.
