Our client, a leading exporter of Citrus and Table Grapes, is seeking a Stock Controller to join the Logistics department at their head office based in Bellville.

This position will have a specific focus on label administration and the successful candidate will be required to travel regularly throughout South Africa. The position is available immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review new labels and designs on a regular basis & change/ implement when necessary
System administration & master files – Ensure that the movement of pallets are accurately tracked, pin pointed and analysed as per Marketing Program
Fruit Stock
Inventory management and control
Intakes and dispatching as per Marketing Program
Summarise and communicate weekly planning to relevant parties
Special Market arrangements i.e. Steri protocol
Export Documentation: Addendum / Commercial Invoice / Packing List
Follow up of export and logistic documentation
Generate marketing stock reports daily
Any other related duty that might be required of the employee from time to time

Minimum Requirements:

Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification
3 years’ experience in a Fruit Export Logistic environment (Essential)
Previous experience with administration of labels (Highly advantageous)
System knowledge and experience of logistic export systems / documentation
Computer literate (Excel advanced; MS office)
Experience/ knowledge of Dipar, Mini Cold Store, Exporter and Saphire would be highly advantageous
A valid driver’s licence (Essential)
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Strong administrative skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary on offer: R 240 000 – R 260 000 P/A
